BusPort CBD, Perth

With the City of Perth experiencing record growth in terms of inner-city living, development and industry, servicing 100,000 daily visitors and workers in addition to its 13,000 inner-city residents, the public transport infrastructure in and around the city is regularly being upgraded to ensure fast and efficient service for commuters.

To improve efficiency, and reduce travel times for buses, recent improvements at the central bus depot have seen the installation of the OMNIGRIP CST coloured pavement surface to provide safe a vivid colour delineation for bus transit movement in and about the central city bus port.

Installed in July 2007 by Antiskid Industries, the OMNIGRIP CST system has been applied to the dual carriageway at new city bus port depot in Riverside Drive. The application providing bus only & priority delineation crosses through the busy intersection at William Street following on to clearly identify the bus only route along both the north and south bound entrance ramps on to the Kwinana freeway.
